Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Klyo ("the Service"). By creating an account or using Klyo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use Klyo. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a 14-day notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Klyo is a LinkedIn productivity platform that provides:
- AI-assisted LinkedIn content creation (posts, carousels, comment suggestions)
- Post scheduling and publishing to your LinkedIn profile via LinkedIn's official API
- LinkedIn post analytics and performance insights (impressions, engagement, follower growth)
- A LinkedIn feed reader showing posts from creators you follow
- Team engagement tools for commenting on LinkedIn posts
Klyo operates as an official LinkedIn partner application and uses only LinkedIn's authorised API endpoints.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Klyo
- You must have a valid LinkedIn account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Each LinkedIn account may only be connected to one Klyo account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. LinkedIn Integration and Authorised Use
4.1 LinkedIn OAuth
Klyo accesses your LinkedIn account exclusively through LinkedIn's official OAuth 2.0 flow. By connecting your LinkedIn account to Klyo, you authorise Klyo to:
- Read your LinkedIn profile information (name, photo, headline, member ID)
- Publish posts to your LinkedIn profile on your behalf (when you initiate a publish or schedule action)
- Read your post analytics data via LinkedIn's Member Post Analytics API
- Read your profile analytics (follower count, profile views, search appearances)
- Post comments on LinkedIn posts on your behalf (when you use Klyo's engagement features)
4.2 LinkedIn Platform Policy Compliance
Your use of Klyo's LinkedIn integration is also subject to LinkedIn's User Agreement and LinkedIn's API Terms of Service. You agree not to use Klyo to:
- Violate LinkedIn's User Agreement or Professional Community Policies
- Engage in spam, mass messaging, or unsolicited outreach via LinkedIn
- Access LinkedIn data for any purpose other than your own personal dashboard within Klyo
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bypass LinkedIn's systems
- Use automated engagement features to create artificial activity patterns that violate LinkedIn's policies
4.3 Revoking LinkedIn Access
You can disconnect Klyo from your LinkedIn account at any time through LinkedIn's settings (Settings → Data Privacy → Permitted Services). Revoking access will prevent Klyo from publishing posts, fetching analytics, or interacting with LinkedIn on your behalf.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Klyo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use Klyo to create, publish, or distribute illegal, harmful, defamatory, or harassing content
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Klyo's systems or another user's account
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Klyo
- Use Klyo to transmit malware, viruses, or other destructive code
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with Klyo beyond normal use
- Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to Klyo without our written consent
- Use Klyo to process or publish content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
6. AI-Generated Content
Klyo uses AI language models to assist with content generation. Regarding AI-generated content:
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before publishing
- AI suggestions are drafts - they may contain inaccuracies, errors, or inappropriate language
- You retain full ownership of content you publish from Klyo
- By using AI generation features, you grant us permission to process your inputs (voice preferences, instructions) to generate content on your behalf
- We do not claim ownership of the content you create or publish using Klyo
- AI content generation is subject to the usage policies of our underlying AI providers
7. Subscription and Payment
Klyo offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor.
- Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in our refund policy
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
- Failure to pay subscription fees will result in downgrade to the free tier
- Promotional pricing and discounts are subject to their own terms
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your subscription
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, or publish through Klyo. By using Klyo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service to you.
8.2 Klyo's Intellectual Property
Klyo's platform, design, software, code, brand, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Klyo's platform without our written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Klyo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- AI-generated content will be suitable for your purposes
- Analytics data will be 100% accurate (LinkedIn API data is subject to LinkedIn's own processing)
- The Service will be available at any particular time or location
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Klyo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Klyo.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Klyo shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you are on a free plan.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Klyo, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of Klyo in violation of these Terms; (b) content you publish or submit through Klyo; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including LinkedIn's terms of service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users or Klyo, or if required by law. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to Klyo will cease immediately
- Scheduled posts will not be published after termination
- Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy
- Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 11 (Indemnification) survive termination
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Klyo shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Klyo after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
